Q. How much does a ClientSource web site cost?

Q. How do I get started?

A. Registration is quick and easy! Before you register for your very own award-winning ClientSource website, all you need to do is think of some creative ideas for a domain name. This will be the address your clients use to access your website. Some examples of creative domain names would be smithaccounting.com or taxhelp4you.com. Coming up with a domain name for your website can be a fun and creative experience! Have fun! To find out if your choices are available, use the Domain Name Availability Check.

Once you've researched your domain name to determine that it is available, you're ready to go! We now have two easy ways to register. First, you can call us anytime, toll free,  at 800-896-4500 and speak directly with a member of our sales staff to place your order. You can also register electronically by accessing our online Setup location.  

You will be asked to choose the look and content of your site. We now have 18 exciting new graphical styles to choose from. Check out our Sample Sites to choose the one that's right for you. 

During online setup, the site management system will prompt you for basic information about you and your practice. It then builds a web site based on that information. You are free to review the site and edit it as necessary to suit your needs. You can even copy and paste text you have written in other word-processing applications directly into the setup windows. 

When you register with us online, we'll send you a confirmation to let you know we received your information. Whichever way you choose to register, your web site will be up and running on the Internet within 5 business days.

Q. I don't have my own domain name yet. How do I get one? 

A. First, you need to see if the domain name you want is available on the World Wide Web.  To research available domain names through Internic, use the Domain Name Availability Check.  

Once you have determined that the domain name you want is available, give us a call at 800 896 4500 and we will register the domain name for you. Of course, you are free to register the domain name yourself, however, ClientSource offers a discounted registration fee for our clients. Domain name registration through ClientSource costs just $35 per year and the standard registration period is for 2 years. 

If you already have a domain name, we will contact Internic and make arrangements to have your domain name mapped to your new ClientSource web site.

Q. How do I add pictures to my web site?

A.
If you have pictures that you would like to add to your web site, simply email them to us in digital format (.bmp, .gif and .jpg files are the most common formats) and we will incorporate them into your site for you FREE of charge.  You can also use the site manager located in the
Modify Your Site section of our website to incorporate as many different images as you like.

Q. Can I have text on my homepage instead of pictures?

Q. How can I incorporate my firm logo into my web site?

A.
If you have a logo that you would like to add to your web site, you can use the site manager located in the
Modify Your Site section. Make sure your logo has your firm name on it, because it will replace your firm name on the top of every page. If your logo doesn't look right when it's placed on your web site, we can resize it for you. We only charge $9.95 to resize pictures.

A. You can update your web site as often as you’d like at no extra charge. Ideally, you would like your customers to visit your web site every few weeks. To encourage their return, it is critical that you keep your web site current, updating it with fresh, new information.
