How To Setup Your Master Account
1. Go to the Secure File Transfer page
on your web site.
2. Click on the small administration
link on the bottom of the page.
3. Enter your starting login name: admin
and password: admin. Then click on the login button.
4. Change Your Login Name and
Password by adding a new account by clicking on the Add
button.
5. Enter your new login name and
password. Confirm the password then click on the Administrator
button. And click on OK when finished. Please write your new login name
and password down in a safe place you will need it to add new
users/clients.
6. For higher security please delete
the original admin user by clicking on the File Transfer link to
get back to the File Transfer page. Then click on the small administration
link on the bottom of the page. Enter your new login name and password.
Then click on the login button.
7. Now click on the button next to the admin
user and then click on the Remove button.
How To Setup Accounts For Your Clients
1. Go to the Secure File Transfer page
on your web site.
2. Click on the small administration
link on the bottom of the page.
3. Enter your new login name and
password. Then click on the login button.
4. Add a new account by clicking on the
Add button.
5. Now assign your client a login name
and password. Enter your client’s new login name and password. Confirm
the password then click on the Members button. And click on OK
when finished. It’s a good
idea to write the login names and passwords in a journal in case your
clients forget.
To add multiple users at one time,
simply click on the back button on your browser and enter your next
client’s information.
How Your Clients Transfer Files To You
1. All your clients need to do in order
to send you a file is to go to the Secure File Transfer page on your web
site.
2. Then they should login under the
"Send a file to us" section by entering the login name
and password you assigned them.
3. To select the file they want to send
all they need to do is click on the Browse button to find the
file to send. Once they’ve found the file they should click on the OK
button.
4. To send you the file they simply
need to click on the Send File button.
How Your Clients Pick Up Files You’ve Posted For Them
1. All your clients need to do in order to pick up a file you’ve posted for
them is to go to the Secure File Transfer page on your web site.
2. Then they should login under the "Receive a file from us"
section by entering the login name and password you assigned them and then click
on the "Login" button.
3. Now they will be able to see the file(s) you’ve posted for them. At this
point they should right click on the download link, and click on "Save
Target As" when the menu pops up.
4. Then they can select where they want to place this file on their hard
drive. When they are done they should click on the "Save" button.
How To Post A File For Your Clients
1. All you need to do in order to post a file for your clients is to go to
the Secure File Transfer page on your web site.
2. Login under the "Send a file to us" section by entering
the login name and password you assigned your client.
3. To select the file you want to send all you need to do is click on the Browse
button to find the file you want to send. Once you’ve found the file they
should click on the OK button.
4. To post the file click on the Send File button
How To Pick Up Your Clients Files
1. All you need to do in order to pick up a file your client has posted for
you is to go to the Secure File Transfer page on your web site.
2. Then you should login under the "Receive a file from us"
section by entering the login name and password you assigned your client and
then click on the "Login" button.
3. Now you will be able to see the file(s) they’ve posted for you. At this
point you should right click on the download link, and click on "Save
Target As" when the menu pops up.
4. Then you can select where you want to place this file on your hard drive.
When you’re done click on the "Save" button.
Transfer Limits
There are no limits to the amount of data you can transfer. We will initially
give you 10 megabytes of storage space. If you need more, let us know and we’ll
give you more space.
